I have updated the Zabbix 1.6 packages in my PPA to 1.6.1. I’ve enabled Intrepid builds next to the Hardy builds for maximum coverage
As soon as Jaunty because a valid target for Launchpad, I’ll start including builds for that platform as well.

Hey, so i got zabbix both server and agent running per your packages and i thank you very much. Is there an RTFM to where to go from here? Do i need to add an apache entry so i can hit ip/zabbix?
Hi, i am new to linux but neet to install a monitoring system. can i have a guide on how to install zabbix 1.6.1 on ubuntu 8.04?
Thank you very much
An Apache Alias to the Zabbix directly is indeed everything that you need to get going Jimi. As for giovani, the documentation on http://www.zabbix.com can explain the installation steps better than i can
Hi, and thank you for the repo. Will you upgrade det Zabbix to version 1.6.2 soon?
No prob
No, I will wait for 1.6.3 to hit the streets, which will be very soon now! Also, I’ve managed to push my changes upstream into Debian and Ubuntu, so I will base 1.6.3 on the latest debian/ubuntu release debs from now on.
Bart,
Thanks for your great work in making Zabbix packages, and getting them into Ubuntu releases!
Just in case you haven’t been watching, Zabbix 1.6.4 is out now.
Thanks,
Tristan
